“Fantastic Stay” | Customer Survey
Fantastic stay, great room, excellent food, courteous staff (special thanks to the Tals for their hospitality!)…I would (and already have) certainly recommend The Mark Addy to any of my friends for a beautiful getaway!
“We love this place” | Nov. 15, 2012 | TripAdvisor
We have stayed here twice and both times we were pleased beyond words. The service was stellar and breakfast was beyond par. The rooms are cozy, and clean. There are so many things to do that are near by: food, drink, hiking. We really love the fun activities The Addy has available, the Wine Tour Scavenger Hunt with driver is one of our favorite memories. We will definitely be back.

“Lovely Virginia Inn in the Heart of Wine Country” | Sept. 17, 2012 | TripAdvisor
My husband and I stayed at the Mark Addy Inn this past weekend. The owners were on vacation so their son, Jacob, was in charge. Jacob was very friendly and accommodating and did a nice job serving breakfast (eggs benedict, croissant, muffin, fruit cocktail — very good). The inn was very charming and our suite, Elena, was very spacious and nicely furnished with period antiques (see photos). The king bed was comfortable and both of us slept very well. The room had a window AC unit which worked just fine. The bathroom, although quite small, was clean and nice. The inn has a 2-night minimum on the weekends but, since they were not fully booked, they waived that requirement since we could only stay one night.

Great stay! Our first greeter was Jennifer! Bubbly, enthusiastic, helpful and willing to serve in any way needed! She was a great one person greeting party!

My wife & I recently enjoyed a weekday get away at the Mark Addy. We had a fabulous time. Our room was comfortable and cozy. We scheduled a “Pub Crawl” for our first night. The Mark Addy provided coupons / vouchers for 2 of the breweries we visited. It was also nice to see that 15% of our Pub Crawl tour went to support local youth programs. Every morning before breakfast we drank our coffee on the porch gazing out on the beautiful mountain scenery. The only meals we had at the Mark Addy were breakfast. Both days it was scrumptious. The location of the Inn in on Nelson 151 surrounded by several wineries, breweries, and a cider press; this made our day trips easy to plan.

We went there midweek and stayed in the tiger lily room on a living social voucher. On the first day, we lucked out and were the only guests and were served a very generous gourmet breakfast by Jacob, the innkeeper’s son because his parents were away. Jacob seems to be a very cool hardworking young man if he is of any reflection of his parents…. The breakfast dining room is the best part of the inn in my opinion and has a very country provincial feel with a beautiful green stain class window.
